This large-scale, immersive structure is designed as a shipwreck broken in two – a towering stern and a partially sunken bow – creating a dramatic landscape for imaginative pirate play and physical challenges.
The 1500mm high stern platform offers a thrilling slide exit, multiple access points including climbing walls (one cleverly disguised as an open door panel), a rope ladder from the open under-deck area (great for hiding/supervision), and a challenging V-Rope Walk bridge connecting to an angled bush poles ‘piers’. A traditional wooden ship’s wheel commands the stern deck. The angled, ‘sunken’ bow deck requires skill to ascend using a rope and painted ‘gold coin’ handholds, leading to a rope net exit. A tall mast with ragged sail and a climbable ‘sunken crate’ complete the scene.
Expertly crafted in our O’Connor workshop, this structure uses durable West Australian Jarrah, detailed to look like an old shipwreck with randomly missing planks allowing access and supervision under the stern deck. Stainless steel fittings ensure longevity on features like the V-Rope Walk.
