Rain Wheel On Bushpole

776-RWH

The Rain Wheel on Bushpole is a playground rain wheel built for outdoor sensory play in early learning centres, schools, and public parks. Spin the disc and ball bearings cascade inside, producing a sound that closely mimics falling rain — while the etched spiral on the face creates a hypnotic visual as the wheel turns.

Experimenting with sound is central to this rain wheel’s character — a slow spin produces a sustained shower effect, while a faster spin imitates a downpour. The relationship between movement and sound encourages children to explore rhythm and listening. The Rain Wheel on Bushpole fosters creativity and self-expression while sparking engagement between children who quickly discover how much their hands can change what they hear.

Fabricated in our O’Connor WA workshop, the stainless steel rain wheel features an internal ball-bearing mechanism and an etched spiral face, mounted on a locally sourced Jarrah bush pole with a painted colour top. Built for outdoor use, the disc delivers consistent acoustic performance.

Well suited to early learning centres, schools and public parks, the Rain Wheel on Bushpole is appropriate for all ages and abilities. Installation available across Perth and WA, or supply-only Australia-wide with full installation documentation for your contractor.
