The Junior Homestead Cubby is a Jarrah homestead cubby that brings rural-themed imaginative play into any outdoor space. With a gable roof, servery bench, louvred windows, and tunnel entry, it reads as a genuine farm building at playground scale — inviting children in to create their own rural world.

Multiple window openings and angled vertical louvres give children different ways to engage — serving at the bench, peering through the slats, ducking in through the tunnel entry — the kind of role-play they return to across many sessions. An internal bench seat supports quieter moments, and the structure naturally accommodates both solo and small-group interaction.

Crafted in our O’Connor WA workshop using locally sourced West Australian Jarrah hardwood (subject to availability), the structure features a live edge gable roof, rustic vertical cladding, and hand-burnt chicken motifs that give each piece a genuinely rural character. All timbers carry a weather-resistant water-based oil finish that preserves the natural grain.

Designed for early learning centres, schools, and community playgrounds, this Jarrah homestead cubby suits children aged 2 years and above. No fall zone is required, making it easy to position in any part of a play space. Installation available across Perth and WA, or supply-only Australia-wide with full installation documentation for your contractor.
