Bird Nest Scramble

332-BIR

Create a dynamic natural challenge with our Bird Nest Scramble, a larger version of our popular Log Scramble. This engaging structure uses intertwined Jarrah bush poles and milled timber pieces of varying shapes and thicknesses to form diverse pathways for climbing, balancing, and scrambling fun.

Children develop gross motor skills, balance, coordination, and problem-solving abilities as they navigate the ramshackle ‘nest’. The hexagonal layout, open on one side for accessibility, encourages exploration, and serves as a circular gathering point for storytelling or social interaction.

Constructed in our O’Connor WA workshop using locally sourced West Australian Jarrah hardwood poles and milled timber, this scramble features lower timbers inside radiating to higher ones outside. Custom options include adding carved ‘eggs’ to the centre or colourful painted features to align with your project’s vision.

An excellent multi-use element for designing nature play areas for Schools, Early Learning Centres, Public Open Spaces, and community parks. Ideal for children aged 3+ years, offering climbing, balancing, and social gathering opportunities. Van Ryt Industries provides WA installation or Australia-wide supply-only.
